Okay, this is really cool. It's in it's final Beta release.

http://use.devnetwork.net/

Check it out. As you can see, I went with the Googlish type style of search engine that we are all fond of. I am going to work up a couple more logos, and if anyone else has any suggestions, throw them our way.

Right now, the USE searches PHPDeveloper.org, PHPComplete.com, these forums, and EvilWalrus.com. More sites to come soon.

I also plan on adding the PHP Manual, MySQL manual, and whatever else we think is just plain "kewl".

Have fun.

pardon me as i drool over teh potential for this thing. we will finally be able to pool all these resources into one GREAT collective resource.

One network to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them. <-- catchy eh?

Great...so does that mean some short guy named Frodo is going to throw my engagement ring for Piera into some fiery pit of doom? That would <span style='color:blue' title='I'm naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span> me off.

Hehe, but yeah, as far as potential is concerned, its pretty cool stuff.

finally I can stop thinking, can sell what's left of my brain and use U.S.E. :D

And the font size of the results is appropriate, I can read it even if I lie idle in bed :D

what about a voting system ('10 users voted this thread as import.....'), did something like this ever worked out?

since the results are dynamic and are pulled from each site, the concept of ranking them would be quite difficult indeed....
