Tool to test accessibility

Post by Gagan_nitk »

Hi We are working on internet website of a bank for ADA compliance. Website is already there for long and we have to do changes for ADA compliance. Can anyone let us know about a tool which can be used to test ADA compliance accessibility.

I don't know if there is such a thing for all ADA compliance. I would recommend making sure your text follows 508 for contract. The best test is to use JAWS to view you site with a screen reader. That we allow you to see how it operates and if it complies with the ease of navigation parts.

You should look into VPAT. It is a checklist of features that can be used to create a testing plan.
