Job Needed

Post by EvilWalrus »

Within the next 5 weeks, i will be searching for a place to live, that is, unless i find a paying job. I am only available for telecommute at the moment, but my services would be full-time and on schedule.

If you'd like to contract me for work, or employ my services, let me know... I am in dire need of work and money right now. Please email andrew@evilwalrus.com with the details, or private message me here with offers.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew Heebner, Administrator
EvilWalrus.com

*NOTE* Due to my abuse of power, i'm making this an announcement, because if i find no job in 5 weeks from today, i'll be living in a cardboard box, so :P

mMm........you might want to advertise in other forums as well. WHT forums and Dev Shed might be good ones. If you've posted in WHT forums, tell me. I'd be happy to recommend you :D.

As I told someone else, I cant promise you a full time job but if you stay active and help us out I could augment your finances on a bi-weekly basis.. I am paying out of my own wages here to transform a GPL forum package into something better than anything else around. I am a backyard php coder whom has started this project nearly two years ago and it's now gotten to a point it requires more skills than I have to make it completly error free. What the project is can be read in the following post link.. If you are interested contact me through the information in the post.. What I am asking for is for someone to spare a few hours of free time to help us each week, you tell us what you think its worth for you in hours in exchange of what I am able to afford to pay you.

@Matthew,

What type of programming at your looking for?

http://www.johnabela.com/projects.php are some of my sites.

Worked extensively with phpBB (one of the original 3 founders/developers), In-Link, PhotoPostPro, etc, etc. etc.

Would be interrested in what type of programs you are looking to develop.

@Andrew,

You looking soley for FTE or willing to do contract short-term stents?
What's your hourly/project rate? You have any experiance with ADOdb?
btw.... I very much like the new EW design... been visiting your site since it went up, and been through all the different changes... let's stick with this one for awhile :mrgreen:
