Compatibility problems IE help!

Hallo

I have few compatibility problems with the website g e o m o b i l e . g r
At mozilla etc.. footer and menu works perfectly .. but at IE footer become doubled height and menu colors are a disaster.

Can you please help me!

I don't see hardly any difference between browsers. I'm using Firefox 8.0.1 and IE 8. Perhaps an earlier version of IE might look different. I see only a very slight difference in the background color of your menu, not enough for me to notice until I carefully compared the two.

your site doesn't pass some CSS validations, maybe there laid some of the reasons of your compatibility issues

I used Chrome and IE9 and couldn't see a difference; only thing i have to mention (and's not compatibility related) is the space left between a short amount of content and the footer; it looks like the page didn't finish loading
