ne1 up 4 a challenge???

Post by IanColley666 »

Hello, my name is Ian (x-EtC-ProWorm-x)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

If someone can do the following there is a reward:

£20
A few games (PC)
A new forum hosted from http://www.spiderz-web.com!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a website for a game called worms at the moment:

http://www.w2k-league.co.uk

The reporting system at the moment is simple: You fill in the short form then click report and on another page the report information is posted but i want something better:

To round it up...

I would like someone to design a complete league system like the one at http://www.w2k-league.co.uk except with advanced options!

For the average user:

user registration

user login/out

users in their options to be able to confirm matches that are reported against them before they are overall confirmed and posted as a win/loss on the standings board.

Also to be able to report matches against other people where the other person also has to confirm the match.

Users to be able (from their user options, when they are logged in) to enter themselves in certain leagues and appear on overall memberlist.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Admin options

For the admin to be able to select users permissions (for example, turn a user into an admin and let them have admin options)

For the admin to add/delete/modify user accounts and review and change all reported matches and all profiles.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also could someone do:

A clock that counts down how much time there is left in a season.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

MANY THANKS!!! Look at rewards at top of page!!!

If anyone is interested please make sure that you instant message me or you reply to this message. I realise this is a massive challenge for you but that is why i give a reward for this challenge!

Please do not start any work on a php proggy without first telling me otherwise someone else might do one before you and its a waste of time making the proggy!

Thanx for your time everyone and i hope somebody can make this proggy for me! You a bunch of very smart peeps so I think there are some peeps that can!

No but really, it's an odd offer. It would be a more 'acceptable' offer if you gave away a little more cash, less games and vBulletin itself rather than hosted on your server - heck, most of us already have a server for our site, I don't think anyone would just change servers just for a board.

And the cash, would probably be delpleated after transfer - one way or another.

And games? mmm, the last time I played any game was a few years back. It's PHP woo!

ok .. you want constructive.

The reality is that of the many times I've seen people ask for others to do the work for them in this forum it seldom happens.

This is a developers network where we all learn from eachother via other developers helping eachother out.

This isn't a job ad board.

We would be more then happy to help you do it if you asked questions along the way - even if its alot of questions - and then you'll learn something interesting, cool, and marketable for yourself.

But its unlikely someone will do this for you.
Keep hoping if you like tho - anything's possible.
