i like IPB much more because it has a much better user interface than phpBB in my opinion. also, some of the features in IPB are much better, including some of the mods u can get from ibplanet.com. I also think the admin panel in IPB is much better than phpBB

phpBB is great, but if i was to run a forum, id choose IPB

My custom-made BlastMB is taking off quite nicely. ;) Hopefully it'll be able to compete against these bigger guys in a few months.

So far it's looking nice, phice and commend you for actually having the patience to develop a whole forum.

For features, I prefer IPB. Although, I use neither.

well personally i prefer PHPBB

even though the version on this site is very basic (sorry guys) phpBB can be very professional which i feel IPB isnt

just my personal opinion

also phpBB is much easier to set up

to set up IPB it virtually takes 2 minutes, just download the .zip and run sm_install.php. i dont see how it could be easier

I like to use phpBB, one of the main reasons is the simplicity of administration and setup. However, I hav'nt had much experience of other forums, so I cannot really objectively comment.

Nice looking board and seems to run pretty fast. Are you going to be selling or giving away like phpBB?

ha, it's funny that the guys at vBulletin are having the exact same thread, except between vBulletin and IPB.
