This is a really cool ASCII page. The reason of why it keeps reloading, after you hit enter, is that it's showing each person's name that was lost. It's truely amazing...

What makes this a "full community" and not devshed? I'm not trying to start a flame here, but am truly wondering. Is it that all the sites are cross linked, does that make this a community? What functionality is provided here that you can't get at devshed that makes this a community and devshed "just a forum"?

PHPDN just started out a few months ago, and it's already got 7 sites on its network.

I understand that it has seven sites in the network. But what I am asking is what makes it a "full community"? Internet.com has MANY sites in its network. I wouldn't consider it a community at all. Yet, by your description it would be just about the "fullest" community there is.

I'm not saying it's a community like PHP-Nuke or something.. It's a community of links to large sites on PHP, plus a rather large forum.

Cool but what's this got to do with this topic?

being linked with other sites doesn't really matter. it's the content that counts and devshed has it all. forums, reviews, articles, tutorials. i would call it a community on it's own.

That's why jason started a new thread on what he should add to DevNetwork.
