Lftp. Its commandline, not graphical, but opensource, and high-quality.

I've got RH installed and it came with gFTP http://www.gftp.org/
Another one I have bookmarked is VirgoFTP http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Internet ... 4338.shtml

It's developed under a completely free/opensource license. It's well supported: the developers put out updates and patches often. It supports chmod'ing, and almost all of the ftp commandset. It has a small footprint, is easy to use (has an extensive help for all commands), and comes standard with Fedora Core 4.

In a nutshell, it does everything I want, easily, and under a license I respect.

Can you upload folders that contain files or many files at once on that client Roja?

Yes.

Set prompt off, and then do mput (Multiple file put).
