Community based file and content manager

Post by merlin89 »

Hi,
Hope I havent posted incorrectly here but I wondered if you would be able to let the community know about a project Im starting. Its the creation of a file and content manager for an IT charity in Ireland called http://www.nwlla.org. The idea behind it was such that the more I got interested in PHP and MySQL the more tutorials and books I read and indeed questions I submited to forums such as the one here at PHPDeveloper (the one Ill keep coming back to due the speed with which my questions are answered and the info recieved). I believed that others could share my learning experience to the extent that we build a fully working file and content manager together as a community based project which will actually be put to good use and not only that but a bunch of tutorials that show how the whole thing is coded so that a novice can start at page 1 and by the end have a finished working article too, as each step is explained in great depth(hopefully). I think its agreat way of learning together especially as I was getting fed up reading tutorials with errata or bits missing or code that simply didnt work on my machine not good if your starting out. Now that my site is finnished I am ready to start hacking some code and wondered if you could point some people in my direction if not some advice would be great...Many Thanks..Ian
