DevNetworks IRC channel irc.freenode.net /#phpdn

Post by Chris Corbyn »

For those who don't know about it. We do have an IRC channel where members of this community can simply hang out and chat.

Feel free to drop in on:

irc.freenode.net /#phpdn

The purpose of the channel is not primarily for asking for help with coding since we'd prefer that the forum was used for this.

We look forward to seeing some of you in there :)

it has existed for a very long time but is almost never used. i enjoy it though, brings people together more and you can say things there that you could not really say here. good stuff, come and join.

the bulk of the time, no one shows up... the ones that do, don't talk much, or at least don't watch the channel religiously (and why should they?)

Every once in a while there's a few moments of chatter.. and then it goes silent again.

When I get some time to install an IRC client on my linux box I'll start sitting in there. Ack, not enough hours in the day.
