Is it worthy buying this image manipulation script?

Post by bl0wfish »

What do you think of this image manipulation script http://www.dotscript.com/Products/PHP-Image-Sorcerer ? It seems that the guys haven't yet completed their site, but I checked out the online demo and the script looks really nice, it can cache processed images very smartly and costs only 5 dollars. They say they provide 24/7 support and their API seems to be able to replace GD for most common image tasks. What's your opinion?

Well, I bought it and I'm really happy because it really does the things they mention. The support seems friendly. I couldn't find an easier or so well thought open source solution for my needs.

If it's "open source," why did you have to pay for it?

I think he meant that he couldn't find an open source solution that was easier than this closed-source, not that he couldn't find another open source solution which was easier.

I just realized my clarification of bl0wfish's post is about as confusing as bl0wfish's post itself. :D
