Set Search Time - A google chrome extension. When you search only results from the past year (or set time period) are displayed. Helps tremendously when using new technologies to avoid outdated results.

Just FYI I'd avoid giving your surname although many people know mine now. I say that mostly to do with (potential) employers making searches on your name. All it takes is one nasty topic.

I'm Chris anyway :)

Everything has both good and bad sides... I've written nasty things about certain companies (and their recruiting people most certainly found those writings :p), i've written nice things about other companies (they found those writings too)...

Too bad most people (including potential employers) forget to take the information they find with a grain of salt.. Most certainly if the information comes from the internet...

I've more or less stopped caring about it.. (But i do have decided to stop writing about personal stuff.)

I think many of us know your full name too :P

There are only a handful of people on this board whose names I know and those are usually through releasing public domain software.
