Hello,
I am planning on opening PHP files from a Linux box in my windows environment and edit and push them back. For this I have a trial version of UltraEdit. I got the access for the Linux server from my web administrator. But now how do I open these in my UltraEdit. I was trying to create an FTP Account and I do not know what other info I need from the Web Administrator. Anyone who is using UltraEdit, please help.
Thanks,
SP

Re: How do I open the PHP files in UltraEdit
I love that editor...but you should really ask on their forums...
Anyways, you need:
1. Username
2. Password
Like any FTP...the other defaults should suffice, such as port and protocol. You might wish to set the default base directory too so you avoid having to start from '/var' each time you load up your files...
