SEO Blogging Wordpress Question

We have a blog with Wordpress where the url is domain.com/blog/blog-title.
I am wondering if it should be domain.com/blog/blog-category/blog-title.

Is the latter better for SEO as it gets keywords into the Blog, or is a shorter URL better without the Category (like more Product pages tend to be)?

Just trying to gauge an opinion. We have a blog of many years and it's is the former. Just wondering if category within it is better.

I use domain.com/%postname%/ in wordpress for my entire portfolio

this is more for humans than anything, google can index anything

Is your website just a blog, or is a blog 'part of' your website?
