I just wished I could give a plus or like some posts I've read on this forum.

If it's not too much of a work, I think it will be a plus.

The common method i've seen is to acknowledge the original poster with some sort of kudos; a thank you or good post / question

Yeah, it's easier when one is part of the thread. Just posting "thank you", "me too", "i agree" may be regarded as spam post.

True but if you have a look at some of the spam posts i think the above examples won't count unless you do them 50 times :) Good point though; i understand what you mean; some way a registered user (that's not part of the discussion on a particular thread) can show appreciation for a specific post without making a post

it's easier when one is part of the thread. Just posting "thank you", "me too", "i agree" may be regarded as spam post.
